A chicken noodle soup so good, no one will believe you didn’t slave over it.I’m currently sick and attempting to study for 2 exams next week, not the best combination. I went to Whole Foods to buy their homemade soup in a bag mix, and of course, they’re out of it. At this point, I’ve been thinking about this soup for hours and all I want to do is eat some. So I’m forced to make my own, and I have to say I’m really impressed with how it turned out.
Now, in all honestly, this soup is not made entirely from scratch. I used a “naked” Rotisserie chicken and a single serve size can of corn. Everything else, however, is super fresh!
Easiest way to cut up the chicken is to use two forks to peel it off the bone and then rip it apart. This is the most time consuming part of the prep. I used the lid of the Rotisserie Chicken as a bowel so I wouldn’t have to wash as many dishes!
One thing I definitely did decide is that my roommate and I need to invest in a soup ladle. Other than that, it was a great experience and very easy to do-especially considering I’m sick!
